What is a prop firm?
A proprietary trading firm funds traders with its own capital. You pass an evaluation that tests risk management, then trade a funded account and keep a share of the profits.
How do challenges work?
A challenge sets a profit target plus daily and overall drawdown limits. Hit the target without breaching the rules and you qualify for a funded account.
What is a profit split?
The profit split is the share of profits you keep — usually 80–90%, sometimes up to 100% on the first payout. Compare splits across firms in the table above.
Can I use EAs or bots?
It varies by firm. Each firm card lists whether EAs, copy trading and news trading are allowed, so you can filter for what fits your strategy.
